You should be sure to compare the prices between various dealers, either over the phone or online. When it comes time to purchase your machine, you will probably want to see it in person. To run a successful construction company you need both reliable employees and equipment. It is therefore prudent to check with the dealer to see if they offer either guarantees or extended warranties, no matter how small an item you are purchasing. Most new equipment will automatically come with a warranty, but many reconditioned machines do not.

Many dealers will be happy to sell you either an extended warranty or service plan for your heavy equipment. The last thing any company want is to be shut down because their equipment is out of commission. Ask your dealer about what plans they have available.
