Hydraulic Scissor Lifts
Hydraulic lifts come in two main
types..
Hydraulic scissor lifts provide a great
work space in the welding and assembly processes in many industries.
They help to ensure worker safety, while at the same time improving
efficiency. The lift capacity of scissor lifts ranges between 500 to
100,000 lb. There are also several available options including: units
with multiple tiers, increased mobility, specially sized tables, pit
mounted units, and platforms with either turntables or conveyers.
There are a wide range of uses for hydraulic scissor lifts. Hydraulic
lifts come in two main types. The first type, called the scissor jack,
is small and is primarily used to elevate automobiles for either repair
or display or small sections of an assembly line. The second type is
often used to transport workers to high, difficult to reach places on a
construction site and features elaborate mechanized lifts.
One of the great features of the scissor lift is its wide platform,
which makes it the machine of choice to lift both workers and supplies.
Another aerial lift that is used is called a hydraulic lift table. This
device does not always feature scissor lift technology and is used to
lift a heavy object so that the bottom of it can be accessed. Hydraulic
technology has made its way into a variety of applications, from tools
to workout equipment.
While there may not be a tremendous performance difference between
hydraulic and non-hydraulic scissor lifts, there will definitely be a
price difference. It is important to know exactly what you need your
equipment to do so that you buy a machine with the features you need.
This is the only way to be sure that you get a machine that will satisfy
you.
